Nanogen, Inc. (Nasdaq: NGEN) today announced its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2000.
Total revenues for the quarter ended June 30, 2000 were $2.3 million compared to $2.2 million for the same period in 1999. For the first six months of 2000, total revenues were $4.7 million as compared to $4.1 million for the same period in 1999. Revenue recognized during the quarter and the six months ended June 30, 2000 and June 30, 1999 was earned in connection with sponsored research programs with the Company's corporate alliances and from contracts and grants with government agencies.
