Bass Hotels & Resorts, the hotel business of the UK's Bass PLC, operates or franchises more than 2,900 hotels and 480,000 guest rooms in over 95 countries and territories. AME Info reports that the hotel operator is in the process of expanding its Holiday Inn properties across the Middle East, the most recent addition being the Holiday Inn Mukalla in Yemen. Bass Hotels & Resorts currently operates 19 Holiday Inn Hotels in the Middle East, and is in the process of developing 15 more properties.
