UNSANITARY
Restroom a mess? Tell the manager
Joan Schihl's July 24 letter about the unsanitary conditions of Virginia's rest-stop bathrooms prompts me to chime in on the existence of those same conditions in other public facilities.
While Ms. Schihl rightfully points the finger at the apparent lack of concern by those responsible for ensuring that the facilities are cleaned and stocked, what can be said about those uncouth patrons whose lack of basic toilet training leaves those places in the deplorable condition we often find them?
I suggest that those who are as offended as I am, when confronted with these disgusting conditions, ...
