They came, they played and laughed, and, after six weeks, they returned to their homes in Borodyanka, Ukraine, with mementoes and fond memories of Wisconsin.
The children -- five girls and three boys, ages 10 to 13 -- arrived in June, brought to Madison by the Circle of Love Project, an effort involving Bethel Lutheran Church, the East Madison Community Center, students at Lakeview Elementary School and other groups and individuals.
