Q: I am 24 weeks pregnant with my first child. It took my husband and me three years of trying for me to become pregnant. I am, to say the least, ecstatic.

My husband, however, is another matter. Although he is happy I am finally pregnant, he is not as involved with this pregnancy as I thought he would be. He hates rubbing my back or helping me with my exercises and is not looking forward to childbirth classes. I practically have to force him to feel the baby when it moves. He has shown little or no positive emotion toward the baby during the entire pregnancy.
