2d anniversary of a `lifestyle' shirt
NEW YORK -- Just two years ago this month, a soft and slightly rumpled dress shirt was placed on a showroom table. There was only the one pre-laundered buttondown oxford shirt in six colors--four solids and two stripes. Not exactly oversized--the shirt had no dropped shoulders or shirttails down to the knees. The garment was simply full cut and comfortable. And since it was pre-laundered, what better way to package it than in a soft, slightly rumpled laundry bag?
Just two years later, Matt Totilo, the man whose dream it was to market a soft, relaxed dress shirt, happily announces that the dream is now a reality ...
