Gov. Tommy Thompson is promoting a State Fair Park improvement plan that he said could cost more than $100 million.
Millions of dollars would come from selling naming rights to buildings and new entrance ways, the governor said here Wednesday.
Ironically, the governor outlined the plan at the Tommy G. Thompson Youth Center, a building named for him by the State Fair Park Board.
Thompson said new buildings and other improvements would make the park the ``best state fair in the country'' and enable State Fair Park to be used year round.
