Disney Cruise Line departs Port Canaveral, Fla. -- the second busiest cruise port in the world -- Saturday on its first-ever seven-night eastern Caribbean cruise vacation.
The Disney Magic cruise ship first offered unique seven-night land and sea vacations, seamlessly combining a Walt Disney World vacation with a Disney Cruise Line voyage to The Bahamas, just two years ago from its year-round home port at Port Canaveral, Fla. The port's passenger count most recently increased 67 percent in the first half of 2000 compared to the same period last year, and rose 59 percent in 1999 compared with 1998.
