At Flying Fish, the fried chicken is terrific, all plump and juicy and finger-lickin'-fabulous in a flaky buttermilk batter.
The beef filet at Flying Fish is a stunner, grilled to a turn and moistened by a velvety sauce of brandy and veal stock subtly infused with the blue-cheesy tang of Roquefort.
Desserts at Flying Fish rank with the best around. Pastry chef Pandora DeGreen consistently creates confections to vie for, such as a mini-skilletful of gingerbread that redefines the sweet-'n-spicy cake while a la mode-ing it with housemade ginger ice cream.
