One of the biggest crowd pleasers at this year's Northwest Flower & Garden Show was the introduction of a new hellebore strain. The winter blooming ``Royal Heritage'' hellebores were developed at Briggs Nursery in Olympia.
The prestigious Wayside Nursery catalog offers these hardy perennials as a national exclusive. Here in the Northwest, we can get ``Royal Heritage'' hellebores at quite a few regional nurseries. Buying them locally makes good sense; why pay more for plants that have been shipped back East before coming home to you?
