Only a few monarchs left in the world really matter.
And not one has mattered for longer than King Norodom Sihanouk, Cambodia's master of dramatic intrigue for the past 58 years.
In the 1940s, Sihanouk acted the playboy king with scores of mistresses, the self-described ``randy rabbit.'' In the '50s, he became the father of Cambodian independence from France and the slippery Cold War neutralist.
