The House unanimously passed legislation yesterday to complete the third and final leg of education reform: accountability.
Democratic co-Speaker Frank Chopp of Seattle called it ``one of the most significant pieces of legislation we'll deal with this session.''
Marc Frazer, a spokesman for state Schools Superintendent Terry Bergeson, said the bipartisan agreement was heartening and ``a vote of confidence in the rest of education reform to date.''
After a similar bill passed in the Senate the day before, Frazer said, ``we're going to see accountability legislation pass this session, which is good news.''
