Here are some ideas for getting to know wine.
Tasting wine: First, fill your glass about one-third full. Hold up your glass against a white surface, such as a napkin, and note the wine's color. A white wine will range from almost clear to golden, while a red wine will be purple to red-brown. Generally, the deeper the color, the more full-bodied the wine.
