The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office is investigating a 48-year-old ((age)) Northshore School District teacher for alleged child molestation and might ask prosecutors to file two counts against the man.
The teacher, a 22-year teaching veteran, was arrested Thursday night, but was released after posting $15,000 bail. He was placed on leave from Kokanee Elementary School, where he has taught fifth- and sixth-graders for five years in the Parents Active and Cooperative Education program.
Neither police nor district officials would give details of the allegations, except to say the investigation involves current and former students.
