Some would say that Richard Geoffroy has the best job in the wine industry. Geoffroy makes Dom Peri-gnon Champagne, Moet & Chandon's finest and the most renowned sparkling wine.
After graduating from medical school, he realized that Champagne was where his heart was and he went back to school to learn winemaking before taking a job at Moet & Chandon in Epernay, France. After a stint in the Napa Valley making Domaine Chandon (owned by Moet), he moved back to Champagne and in 1990 was put in charge of Cuvee Dom Perignon.
