Dear Jeanne: I lost my recipe for Cream Cheese Pound Cake. I found this recipe, but it has a lot of fat and cholesterol in it. Would you please revise it? Thanks. - Carol Haddix, Gary, Ind.
Dear Carol: You found a good cake recipe that simply needed some adjustments. I substituted low-fat buttermilk for butter and light cream cheese for the heavier version. Egg whites replaced some of the whole eggs with good results. I suggested using non-stick spray on the bundt pan, but if your bundt pan has a tendency to stick, go ahead and grease and flour it as in the original recipe.
