There's something about Elektra. Since 1200 B.C., her story has been attracting the attention of playwrights. The 5th century B.C. Athenians Aeschylus, Sophocles and Euripides all wrote plays about her. In the 20th century we've had versions by Jean-Paul Sartre, Eugene O'Neill and Kristina Sutherland and Desiree Prewitt.
Who are Sutherland and Prewitt, you might ask, and what are they doing in the august company of O'Neill and Sophocles and such?
Sutherland and Prewitt are the authors of ``Another Elektra,'' a One World Theatre production playing at the Speakeasy Backroom. They are also the cast of the show. Each plays a half-dozen roles.
