Trent Dilfer had to high-five his defensive teammates with his left hand following Tampa Bay's 16-3 victory yesterday against the Seahawks.
Dilfer's right arm was in a sling and he was hurting after breaking his collarbone in the third quarter. Still he managed to smile broadly through the pain. Dilfer's replacement, rookie Shaun King, had been effective. His defense had been dominating.
Tampa Bay forced six Seahawks turnovers - intercepting Jon Kitna a career-high five times - and kept Seattle out of the end zone for the first time in Mike Holmgren's coaching tenure.
