This time of year, the stack of gardening catalogs on the corner of my kitchen table is growing, as I plan for fall bulb planting. But this year I also am accumulating a list of Web addresses for ordering spring-bloomers over the Internet.
August is the prime ordering month for fall bulbs, and more and more gardeners are turning to cyber-shopping to place their orders.
The Netherlands Flower Bulb Information Center in New York, www.bulb.com (not ''bulbs,'' unless you are in the market for light bulbs), is an excellent source of bulb-sellers. You can use the site to request catalogs, or you can skip to the ordering phase.
