HOUSTON, Aug. 14 /PRNewswire/ --
Manta Ray Offshore Gathering Company, L.L.C. announced today that it is constructing a major extension to its existing offshore gathering system.
Manta Ray (owned 50 percent by Shell Gas Transmission, 25.67 percent by El Paso Energy Partners, L.P., and 24.33 percent by Marathon Gas Transmission Inc.) is constructing this pipeline as a result of agreements entered into with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, Shell Exploration & Production Company, and Ocean Energy, Inc. to gather gas from the Hickory prospect located in Grand Isle Blocks 110, 111, and 116.
