Manta Ray Builds Extension
Manta Ray Offshore Gathering Co. said Monday that it is constructing a major extension to its existing offshore gathering system.
Manta Ray - owned 50% by Shell Gas Transmission, 25.67% by El Paso Energy Partners, and 24.33% by Marathon Gas Transmission - is constructing this pipeline as a result of agreements entered into with Anadarko Petroleum, Royal Dutch/Shell, and Ocean Energy to gather gas from the Hickory prospect located in Grand Isle Blocks 110, 111, and 116.
