Virgin Records America, a division of EMI Group plc, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a joint venture agreement with Blackground Records Llc to release its music on a worldwide basis.
The agreement was announced by Ray Cooper and Ashley Newton, co-presidents of Virgin Records America, and Barry Hankerson and Jomo Hankerson, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President, respectively, of Blackground Records Llc.
