Clara Belle Tharp, 81, died at Sentara Nursing Center, Virginia Beach, on Aug. 16, 2000. She was born on May 28, 1919, in Lyndon, Mich., and was the daughter of the late Walter and Bessie Bott of Ann Arbor, Mich. She was a lifelong resident of Ocean View.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Swinson and husband, Bobby, of Ocala, Fla.; a son, Richard Hoeflaak Sr. of Virginia Beach; three brothers, George and Laverne Bott, both of Florida and Max Bott of Jackson, Mich.; a sister, Hazel ...
