In the not too distant future, thousands should be able to go on a balloon ride viewing the Shropshire Hills - without leaving the ground.
The intriguing pounds 2.2 million Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre being built on the edge of the small market town of Craven Arms will be offering a simulated balloon ride as its visual tour de force.
'The whole concept is to take in the vision of the local South Shropshire Hills,' says Shropshire county councillor Claude Bodenham, chairman of the Secret Hills Discovery Panel.
