NEW YORK--The Hard Rock Cafe T-shirt is a postcard you can wear, and owners estimate that there are almost 20 million currently in circulation.
Daily receipts for merchandise in New York alone average $19,208. If that seems incredible, imagine any retail store turning out these figures from a 39-square-foot space.
Worldwide merchandise sales for the eight stores within Hard Rock Cafes are estimated to be between $45 million and $50 million retail annually.
