ROBERT BURNS was back in his homeland of Scotland this week. Guest of honour at a Cameron Highlanders reunion, pipes, drums and lunch with the Provost of Inverness.

It was a day to remember.

But then again, Robert has more days to remember than most. He's 104 years old.

And there are the days he doesn't want to remember - those he spent living in the mud and blood that was France during the Great War.

Robert is the only surviving Cameron Highlander to have witnessed those awful scenes. He's the last man standing.
