PITTSBURGH -- SmithKline Beecham Consumer Healthcare has launched Alluna Sleep, a natural supplement formulated with herbs to promote a healthy sleep pattern.
"Getting a good nights sleep on a consistent basis is crucial to one's physical health and mental well-being," says Wallace Mendelson, director of the University of Chicago Sleep Research Laboratory.
A study of sleep and the use of sleep aids commissioned by the supplier notes that 42% of people report getting less than seven hours of sleep a night, one-third rate their sleep as "poor," half have trouble falling asleep, and 51% of the American workforce reports that sleepiness on the job limits ...
