POLICE officers, firefighters, students, office workers, accountants, journalists, lawyers and cleaning ladies can all meet on a level playing field once they don their rugby boots.
In the middle of a scrum no-one cares about the social standing or background of any of the other women - what matters is how well they play.
Rewind to 30 years ago and the women who played rugby were few and far between but times have changed and these days most major towns and cities have women's teams and countless schools are encouraging girls to give it a go.
