Kim Howells, Competition and Consumer Affairs Minister, announced today that he had accepted undertakings from Alanod Aluminium-Veredlung GmbH & Co (Alanod) and Metalloxyd Ano-Coil Ltd (Ano-Coil) in relation to Alanod's acquisition of Ano-Coil. His decision is in accordance with the advice of the Director-General of Fair Trading (DGFT).
