Teddy Beaten Again
New York's Post is almost enough to redeem the good name of Post's everywhere. Over the years since he bought it in 1977, Rupert Murdoch has rescued the Post from obscurity, with traditional, spirited tabloid headlines ("Headless Body Found in Topless Bar" is the classic), excellent political reporting in New York and Washington, and some of the best columnists in the business--the late Dick Young on sports, Max Newton on economics, Ray Kerrison on everything.
