Minister of Finance and Economy Jin Nyum recently went to extra lengths to emphasize the role the United States should be given in any international fund to be set up for the purpose of helping out North Korea.
More specifically, in a press conference Wednesday afternoon, Jin told reporters that there exists a need to establish an international fund to be contributed to by foreign countries as well as South Korea. ``Such a fund could be of benefit to the U.S. and Japan, and the two are quite interested in it,'' Jin said.
