When Eric Snow boarded a commercial flight to Philadelphia yesterday, his heart wanted to thank Seattle for the memories.
Snow's mind is more appreciative of the opportunity.
Traded to the 76ers Saturday, Snow finally will get what the Sonics could not give him this season: A chance to play.
``I'm happy. I'm excited,'' Snow said of his bittersweet departure from the Sonics. ``It's tough to leave. The fans are great. I love the city. But hopefully, I'll get a chance to get some playing time and prove myself in this league. I would love to do that here, but it just didn't work out.''
