Oyster Dome is one of the more unusual places I've hiked to this year.
Not only is the scenery grand, with big views of the Olympics and San Juans, but there are small lakes tucked in the trees, a jumble of boulders and a trail that goes all the way to Montana maintained by the Pacific Northwest Trail Association.
In addition to gulping down big views, you can work up a sweat if you choose to, or merely wander the large system of trails.
