Seattle has been blessed with tens of thousands of high paying industrial jobs, many of them in the south end Duwamish Industrial Area. These jobs pay what currently is termed a family wage and provide an avenue for committed individuals to enter the workforce, without extensive formal education, and rise through the ranks using hands-on, on-the-job training to become very skilled and successful in their field.
