PacWest drivers Mauricio Gugelmin and Mark Blundell each slammed into the wall at high speed in separate accidents yesterday before Jimmy Vasser won the rain-delayed Bosch Grand Prix at Nazareth Speedway.
Both Gugelmin and Blundell were examined and then released from Easton Hospital. A member of Blundell's crew, Tim Douthat, also received treatment after being knocked down during a pit stop early in the race.
Later in the afternoon, PacWest Indy Lights driver Paul Morris crashed his car.
``We sent four guys to the hospital and three cars were seriously damaged,'' said PacWest spokesman John Oreovicz.
