Suddenly over the last few months, it seems every political subdivision in the nation is trying to get Microsoft for being a monopoly. The company is doing the same things now that it has done in the past 10 years, so why are so many people out to get it now?

My theory is that somewhere in a federal building in Washington, D.C., congressional or senatorial staffers were pouring over the public disclosure forms of their candidate trying to figure out where they could find a few hundred thousand more dollars for the next race.
