Public interest in alternative medical therapies is so high that physicians, whether they embrace or denounce non-standard treatments, must become better educated about such therapies, a leading medical journal reports.
``Our readers - America's physicians - want more information about this topic, because so many of their patients are using it and they need to be knowledgeable if they're to effectively treat them,'' said Dr. George Lundberg, editor of the Journal of the American Medical Association.
