ROBIN WILLIAMS is to portray the flamboyant homosexual pianist Liberace in a film he is developing.
Written by scary movie writer JASON FRIEDBERG and AARON SELTZER, the project is described as being in the vein of The People vs Larry Flynt.
The film will follow Liberace's career until his death from Aids in 1987 and will include his successful lawsuit against the Daily Mirror, in which he won damages because the newspaper implied he was gay.
