According to Ted Sod, ``Criminal energy and creative energy are the same. So I try to lasso the kids's energy on behalf of creativity.''
Sod is a Seattle playwright/actor/screenwriter. His current project on behalf of lassoing kids and heading them into the creativity corral (as opposed to the slaughterhouse of criminality) is titled MOB. MOB stands for Mobile Outreach Bunch.
The Bunch hits the road this week with a play by Maria C. Decaney, a former Franklin High School student who was prodded into playwrighting during a Sod workshop at her school.
Sod is in charge of education and outreach at the Seattle Repertory Theatre.
