Gov. Gary Locke owned thousands of dollars worth of Microsoft stock when he signed a controversial tax exemption for the company in April.
Questioned about the appearance of a conflict, Locke said in an interview he is considering setting up a blind trust for his investments or selling his holdings in Washington state businesses.
``None of my holdings in any of these stocks have ever influenced my decisions as governor, nor do I ever intend to let them,'' Locke said.
