Microsoft Corp. this week will demonstrate new features of its updated Internet browsing software, a key part to the company's Internet strategy.
Microsoft will showcase improvements it's made to features already included in the Internet Explorer browser, such as ``push'' technology to let publishers and companies broadcast information such as stock quotes, news stories and company memos directly to the PC; enhanced Internet publishing capabilities; video conferencing and e-mail.
The updated Internet Explorer 4.0 is the first step in combining the company's Windows operating systems with Internet software.
