State Supreme Court Justice Richard Sanders, if nothing else a civil libertarian and certain champion of the ``little guy,'' smattered himself with discredit by attacking the layperson status of some of those on the 11-member Commission on Judicial Conduct that last week reprimanded him for giving a brief speech at a March for Life anti-abortion rally in Olympia last year.
``We can make a legal argument to laypeople but they don't even know where the law library is, much less even look up a case,'' Sanders sniffed.
