Penny LeGate, the longtime co-host of KING/5's ``Evening Magazine'' until her abrupt departure two years ago, reappeared on Seattle-area TV screens this morning as co-anchor of KIRO/7's morning news reports with David Kerley.
LeGate also will take on some reporting duties for KIRO, said news director Bill Lord, who characterized her addition to the station as ``a very good fit.''
``Penny has a lot of name recognition . . . and will bring viewers to the set,'' Lord said Friday.
LeGate, a native of Nebraska, hosted ``Evening Magazine'' for nine years - from its debut in 1986 until 1995 - before leaving over contractual differences with KING. At ...
