The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's inductees next year will include four rock groups - the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, the Mamas and Papas, and Santana - plus performers Lloyd Price and Gene Vincent.
The induction ceremony, the 13th since the Hall of Fame was created in 1986, takes place Jan. 12 at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York. A tape of the ceremony is scheduled to be broadcast Jan. 19 on cable channel VH1.
The musicians, whose signatures will be included in an illuminated display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, join such past inductees as the Beatles, James Brown, the Velvet Underground and the Shirelles.
