The Boeing Co. wants to broaden its ``hometown'' image to include the rest of the world.
To achieve that goal, the company has embarked on an international campaign to increase its business ties to foreign countries, and will eventually move more of its aircraft production work overseas.
It's all part of Boeing's long-term strategy to become a global company, Ron Woodard, Boeing's Commercial Airplane Group president, told the World Affairs Council yesterday.
