For nine years since he took over as head coach at Washington State, Mike Price has had a Rose Bowl moment in his mind.
There he is walking across the field with 100,000 fans and a national television audience watching, beaming as he reaches out to shake the hand of the opposing coach, sealing WSU's first Rose Bowl victory since 1915.
``I've kept that picture in my mind no matter what anybody said about me or the team or the job that I was doing. I kept ahold of that vision,'' Price said.
Nobody is bad-mouthing Price or his team anymore. The 3-8 seasons, rumors of firings and criticisms of Price's quirky coaching style are a thing of the past ...
