From Montana to Magnolia, an all-too-well-known grass-roots movement of Freemoles has once again taken hold.
Regardless who owns the turf - FBI agents, attorneys, farmers, golf courses, cemeteries and even garden writers - the moles claim it's theirs, and they ain't coming out.
Folks hereabouts have tried everything from mole bombs to 12-gauge Remington pump-actions to dislodge these subterranean squatters, to no avail. Mole-trapping columnists win occasional small victories, but are still losing the uncivil war.
And the time has come to give the moles a little of their own medicine:
Castor oil!
