The last concert of this year's Seattle Chamber Music Festival ended with a flourish with the brilliant but little-known Quintet for piano and strings in g minor of Joseph Suk.
A charming Divertimento by Mozart and a biting set of variations by Martinu completed the musical fare.
Much credit is due Toby Saks, the artistic director, for unique and exciting programming such as this throughout the festival.
Cellist Godfried Hoogeveen and pianist Christopher O'Riley collaborated in the Martinu ``Variations on a Theme of Rossini for cello and piano.'' This is also a little-heard work, and one of zest and charm.
