Edoardo Mueller has become a habit with Seattle Opera, which repeatedly engages him to lead the company through the melodic but sometimes thorny thickets of Italian opera.
The conductor is back to conduct ``Turandot,'' Puccini's early 20th-century tale of love and death in ancient China.
English soprano Jane Eaglen makes her debut in the title role in the Seattle production, which opens Saturday and runs through Nov. 2.
