When the University of Idaho football team ventures onto foreign turf, sometimes it is reminded of home.
Four years ago the thoughtful fans at Colorado State University pelted the Vandals with potatoes. The underdogs responded with a 37-34 whipping of the Rams.
``Everybody was just talking about CSU. Who's Idaho?'' Vandals wide receiver Chad Berry recalled.
``We feel we're just as good as anybody . . . We made sure we kept our helmets on that day, though.''
This season 12,000-student Idaho, formerly a full-fledged member of the small school Big Sky Conference and NCAA Division I-AA, is now among the 111 schools competing in Division ...
